The next online hackathon commences Friday, the 10th of March at 5:00PM (UTC) – providing teams with almost an entire weekend to collaborate and work on their startups. Initial team pitches commence at 10:30AM (UTC) and final submissions/pitches begin on Sunday, the 12th of March at 5:00PM. Judging will then take place before a winning team for the weekend is announced. This process can take up to 1-2 hours.
The final stage of a weekend is judging. Each week a new panel of judges will be selected to share their opinions whilst critiquing teams and the startups they create. The judging panel for our first weekend consists of Niv Dror, Iwein Fuld and Ryan Heybourn.

This weekend costs $10. A registration fee helps to ensure participants are serious about taking part whilst eliminating spam accounts and fake registrations.
We’ve recently introduced the ability to participate in a team consisting of people you already know. In order to add friends to your team, you must first be registered for the weekend. Once registered, you’ll be prompted to enter the email addresses of those you wish to participate with. Once those users also register for the weekend, you’ll be matched and placed into an according team.

Foundler hosts online hackathon weekends. These are web-based events which aim to provide entrepreneurs with the necessary support and resources they require to create and launch a successful startup, without the need to travel to an event or meetup in order to participate. Once registered, participants are placed into a team with three others and given access to a variety of resources such as Slack, Skype and a mentor who is available to assist them throughout the event. From here, they have just 48 hours to pitch an idea, collaborate, build and launch, before their idea is presented to a panel of guest judges.
As Foundler weekends are hosted online, no travel to a location or meetup is necessary to participate. Eliminating this factor allows for anyone, from anywhere in the world to pitch, create and share their ideas.
Anyone! People with all levels of experience and skill are welcome to participate in a weekend.
Where you go from there is up to you. Hundreds of successful startups have originated from various hackathon/startup weekend events all over the world and over 25% of all teams continue to work together on their original ideas. Didn’t collaborate with your team well last weekend? Foundler weekends occur every other week, so participating again is always an option!
